This is Charlotte and Christopher. We shot these photos in the garden at their grandparents house, you can tell they are much more relaxed when they are in their own space. They both made such great models and were real pros in front of the camera. There were some great props there too, in particular, the trampoline. How can kids not enjoy playing on a trampoline? It was great fun to shoot and I think Charlotte and Christopher had fun too.
Gear used on this shoot was Nikon D3 with 70-200mm f2.8 and 16mm fisheye (for trampoline shot)
This is Jessica. Born just a few days ago, a bonny 9lbs 2oz. Congratulations to the proud parents, Jason and Laura, you must be thrilled, (as well as very tired)! Although these look like studio images, they were in fact all taken at the clients home. It’s more work for me but a whole lot easier for the client.
For the tech folks out there, Nikon D3, 60mm Macro, SB900 flash with wireless transmitter….. Sorted!
Looking for something different? Tired of the same old jumping up and down shots against a white background? Just a few samples to show why I am so different.
I had no idea it was May and Hash’s 7th wedding anniversary when we did this shoot. I’m not sure I would have handled it differently, but either way, it was still a pleasure to capture the love and tenderness in this portrait shoot in the city.
I needn’t have bothered bringing the wind machine though, it was blowing a gale in Brindley Place, only kidding! (not about the wind). We did manage to find some sheltered areas, but I actually like the wind in the hair, something I never need to worry about myself, but it’s good to have little movement in the images.
